Homestyle Waffles

Delicious waffles that you can cook in your favorite waffle iron into literally any shape. These everyday waffles were inspired by my mom, and tweaked ever so slightly to make them my own.


  • 1 3/4 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Melted Butter


  1. Begin by preheating your waffle iron, regardless of which one you use.
  2. Second, whisk your flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Then, separate your egg whites into a small bowl and dumb the yolks into the dry ingredients.
  4. Next, add the milk and butter to the batter and stir in.
  5. At this point, beat the egg whites until they make stiff peaks.
  6. Now, fold the egg whites into the batter. AVOID OVER-MIXING!
  7. Finally, pour the appropriate amount of batter into your waffle iron and cook until the steam lessens.
