This ultra simple pizza dough allows you to make anything from a pizza to a fancy italian bread.

  • 3/4 cup Warm Water (105°F to 115°F)
  • 2 1/4 tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Basil (optional)

  1. First, pour the warm water into small bowl and stir in the yeast, and allow it to dissolve completely.
  2. Then, whisk the flour, sugar, and salt together.
  3. Next, knead in the yeast mixture and butter until the dough forms into a soft ball.
  4. After that, transfer the dough to an oily bowl, and turn it to coat the ball of dough with oil.
  5. Then, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rise until it doubles in size.
  6. Finally, punch the dough down and roll it out according to your recipe.

You can make pizza dough about a day in advance, as long as you store it in an airtight container in the fridge. When you start working with the dough, always start from the middle and work your way to the edges without going over them.
