
On 11 December 2017, President Donald J Trump called on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to “lead a human return to the Moon and beyond.” Since then, NASA has dedicated itself to setting up an American presense on the moon no later than 2024.
SpaceX
Known for their innovation, SpaceX began testing prototypes in January 2020. After 10 prototypes, 60 engines, 567 test fires, and 2 actual test flights, NASA selected SpaceX Starship as the vehicle to bring humans back to the Moon.
