Growing up, I used to spend tons of time with my mom cooking. While I never aspired to become the next great Chef, I quickly developed a love for the kitchen.
What I Cook
The recipes I post here sort of cast a light on the type of cooking I enjoy, namely, making things from the ground up. Part of my love of cooking comes from a love of growing my own food. I realize that living in the city precludes me from raising a lot of livestock, but I try to get fresh meat whenever I can.
On a funny side note, I don’t usually cook fish unless I personally caught them. Something about eating fish just sits funny in my stomach unless I saw the fish go from the water to my plate. I know that’s totally irrational, but I can’t help it.
