Most upscale restaurants serve a variation on the pan seared steak. This delicious, and easily eaten entree makes up part of the perfect romantic dinner. I learned to cook it, because it seemed like the perfect birthday addition for my beautiful Crystal. You might want it for either a nice dinner at home, or wooing that new cutie.
Whatever your reasons, learning to make a pan seared steak will never cause regret. Unless you just can’t find someone who makes it as well as you do!
Pan Seared Steak Serving Suggestions
If you do decide to make this a romantic meal, I highly suggest serving it with a few essentials. First, ensure you have a starch; for this I highly recommend Potatoes Au-Gratin. Then, you need a vegetable of some sort; at home, a simple salad might provide the most versatile option (I like a good Caesar). And finally, you most certainly need to pair it with the right drink.
I drink strictly non-alcoholic beverages, so for me, a homemade lemonade or Welch’s Sparkling Mocktails work perfectly. Essentially, you want to make sure you’re drinking something slightly acidic to complement the meal.
If you have any suggestions of your own, or questions about this recipe, please let me know in the comments.
I grew up in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, México, where people either owned cattle ranches or fruit orchards. Much of my work ethic came from working on Rancho La Mesa (my family’s ranch). That ranch also sparked what grew into my wild imagination. I read somewhere that you should write the story you want to read, and that stuck with me. My writing began in sixth grade, around the time I began learning to type.
